The Society has a proud history and for many years held both a Winter Exhibition and Summer Show.

These days, the annual Whangarei A&P Show is held on the first Saturday every December, at Barge Showgrounds, Maunu Road.

Brighter and better each year, Whangarei A&P Show is a highly successful, well established, family focused community event involving loads of animal interactions and rural experiences supported by a myriad of organisations, trade companies, farmers and equestrian groups.

Find Your Future

Find Your Future is a biannual event in partnership with NRC, for secondary school students who are considering a career in the Primary Industries. Students are given the opportunity to participate in engaging and interactive workshops with professionals in the industry.
